Important Patient Letter - September 2021

We have written this letter to our patients which explains the current situation in our practice and general practice as a whole:

Patient Letter

  • As of the 19th July we are asking that patients continue to wear their face masks/coverings in the surgery due to the lack of space and ventilation in the building.  We appreciate your continued support with this.

  • From Thursday 23rd September our phlebotomy service will be held back at our Whittle Surgery site.

If you haven't been sent a letter from the surgery regarding your covid booster then you must use the National Booking Service for your booster vaccination.  You should receive a message from the NHS when you are 6 months post 2nd dose.

You can then ring 119 or book online at:

Based on patient feedback we will be trialling a new appointment system from 1st June 2021. We will be offering more pre-bookable appointments and ask only patients who require same day medical input to ring at 8am or 2pm for an on the day appointment. Our appointments will also be available online (Same day slots released at 8am and 2pm)
